On August 22nd, the ladies of the church threw a baby shower for us. The bassinet is a lovely gift, and even comes with the mosquito netting!

On August 24th, we came up to Bogota to Janna and Jess Hunter-Bowman's apartment to wait for the delivery. Here is Abby helping Jess make pizza dough.
Abby also has enjoyed playing with Bonnie Klassen's son, Adrian David, while we've been in Bogota.

On Saturday, September 1st, Janna and Bonnie took Laura out to eat at a lovely Italian restaurant.
We also went to the flower market that morning to get some roses for the apartment.
Here we are on Sunday evening as the labor has begun. Dr. Mauricio is on his way, and Aaron's just about ready to put Abby to bed for the night.
And an hour and a half later...surprise! Here's Anna Sophia! She decided to make a rapid entrace.
We were thrilled - and she was crying and ready to nurse!
