Later we visited the Botanical Park. It was hard to believe we were still in the big city.
Abby enjoyed exploring an indoor display of different Colombian ecosystems.

After church on Sunday we hiked up Monserrate, the mountain right beside Bogotá.
The view of the city below was breathtaking.
On the top, there's a church that has mass every hour.
There's also a stations of the cross area with statues depicting different parts of the Passion of Christ.
Descending to Bogotá in the "Funicular," a kind of cable car on tracks.
It was a wonderful weekend in Bogotá with Jess and Janna. We can't wait for them to visit us in La Mesa.
