After graduation we and the RAD team members went to a "quinceañera"--a fifteenth birthday party. It was a big deal! Jessica Calderón, the birthday girl, is host sister to Stephanie Hollenberg.
Amy Bradshaw got to dance with José, the father of the birthday girl. The theme of the party was Arabian Nights, so José dressed the part.
The second weekend of December we went to a retreat with the MCC Colombia workers. After a Christmas meal we exchanged gifts at Janna and Jess's apartment.
Anna Sophia received her first Christmas gift ever!
The next day we headed to a park in a cloud forest. It had a dreamlike feel to it.
All weekend Abby showed off her "My Little Pony" that she got at the gift exchange.
In early December we helped with vacation Bible school in Anapoima. Here Alejandro works on a crossword puzzle about the birth of Jesus.
